Ruth in Paris!

Hi everybody, this is Ruth. I took some pictures on my phone. This is the first picture from Paris. It's from our dinner in the hotel/hostel. I'm sorry that I didn't get Daddy's full face in. But at least you can see the college students in the back. 

This is in the lobby and we are heading out to the boat tour.

This is from our walk to the boat tour. It was pretty cold.

This is on the walk along the river. As you can see, the fence on the bridge is covered with "love locks." Couples buy the locks, attach them to the fence, and then throw the key into the river.

Ruth in France # 3

Hi everyone, this is Ruth!

School is HARD! But I wrote a poem and it's in French. Grammy and Pépère can read it but everyone else probably cannot. This is just the sheet that the teacher printed off.

Here is the same poem, but I wrote it. It's about the alphabet. The letters are at school in a classroom. 

I drew about the poem here to show the letters of the alphabet in the classroom. 

 While school is hard, France is cool. I really like it. The food and bread is wonderful. I like taking walks. This week we went on a hike up a mountain. We went the whole way up to the top! Then we looked out and went down.

Ruth in France #1

Hi Family!

At the monastary there are 4 large dogs. The littlest is JZ. The medium one is BoBo. The almost biggest is Shack. And the really big one is Nemo.  They are all so cute!

This is me with BoBo.

The first day of school lunch was sausage, cantalope, applesauce, mashed potatoes, and really good bread. The second meal at lunchtime was beans, chicken, really really really good bread and like a salad rice.

The food at the monastary is really good. There was a good quiche, a really good bread, a yogurt, a salad and carrots.  Abe and I share a bedroom. Our balcony is as big as our living room and kitchen.
